QE Team Community Outreach Initiative

At the start of the year, QBurst’s Quality Engineering (QE) team carried out a community outreach program across multiple cities. The initiative focused on supporting orphanages, old age homes, rehabilitation centers, and care facilities working with underprivileged children as well as physically and mentally challenged individuals.

Employees collectively raised approximately ₹2.25 lakhs. Team members visited 14 institutions to distribute essential provisions, daily supplies, and clothing to residents. Members also spent time at the facilities  engaging with the residents and caregivers.

In Trivandrum, the team visited Assisi Niketan in Pangappara, Sarvodaya Shanthi Bhavan in Vattappara, and Poorna Sree Balika Sadanam in Thiruvallam. 

In Kochi, the team visited Divyarakshalayam in Thodupuzha, Asha Bhavan in Kakkanad, MOCEM Centre and St. Macrina Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre in Pampady, and Maher Ashram in Mulanthuruthy.

In Koratty, contributions were made to Anugraha Sadhan in Chalakudy and Divya Karunya Ashramam in Aloor. In Calicut, the outreach efforts covered Udhayam Home in Westhill and St. Vincent’s Home in Palayam.

The initiative also extended to Ladybird Home for Children in Bangalore and Dr. John E. Douglas Children’s Home in Avadi, Chennai. 

The drive was executed by employee volunteers across locations, who coordinated fundraising, logistics, and on-site visits. This collective effort reinforces QBurst’s belief that meaningful impact is driven by people-led action and community partnership.

Supporting Education Through Meaningful Community Action

As part of QBurst’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and inclusive growth, a community-focused initiative was carried out in Chennai.

Through this initiative, QBurst distributed 22 refurbished laptops to students and educational NGOs, helping bridge the digital divide and support continued learning. This effort reflects our broader commitment to empowering communities through sustainable and inclusive actions.

The initiative was led by Ashok Harris as part of the leadership team, with support from fellow leaders, underscoring QBurst’s collective commitment to creating meaningful social impact. The laptops were handed over to the students by Joby Raj, Vice President – QA, and Paul Ukken, Associate Vice President – Engineering.

QBurst carried out several CSR initiatives between January and June 2025.

Five desktops were donated to Government L.P. School, Kottapuram, to help its students acquire basic computer skills and its teachers to prepare teaching materials.

At Janatha U.P. School, Varandarappilly, we funded the renovation and upgrade of the school’s restroom facilities. To improve classroom infrastructure, QBurst provided furniture to Sainik School, Kazhakootam.

Continuing our focus on early education, we distributed school kits, including notebooks, pencils, school bags, and other learning materials, to students at St. Joseph’s L.P. School, Chowara; Government L.P.S. Chowara; and Government L.P.S. Valiasala, all located in Thiruvananthapuram. These kits were given to welcome students to the new academic year and give them a positive start.

Beyond the education sector, QBurst also extended support to the healthcare sector by supplying essential medicines to the Medical College, Kozhikode. This contribution was aimed at easing supply constraints and ensuring timely access to important medicines.

From March to September 2024, QBurst extended support to schools, institutions, and trusts.

As part of our commitment to promoting computer education in institutions, we established a computer lab with 15 computers at Government HSS Ullikal. A computer lab with 15 computers was set up at the Institute of Journalism. Additionally, at St. Jacobs LP School, we provided five computers for the students. To Government LPS Valiyasala, we donated essential resources, including dining tables, benches, water purifiers, and books.

We contributed funds to Pallium India Trust, WHI (Women Empowerment and Human Resource Development Centre of India), and CETAA.

QBurst provided financial support to aid flood relief efforts in Wayanad.

QBurst undertook several CSR initiatives in December 2023 and January 2024 to build technical education infrastructure in select schools in Trivandrum.

Prominent among them was a computer lab that we set up at Mutharamman Covil Higher Secondary School (MCHSS), Kottukalkonam, Balaramapuram. The lab, equipped with 20 computers, will offer students a more hands-on experience in computers. The lab was inaugurated by the District Collector, Geromic George IAS. Santhosh Kumar, Senior Manager of Finance and Accounts at QBurst, participated in the inaugural ceremony.

We undertook a similar initiative at Government Tamil LPS, Chalai, where we set up a computer lab with 10 computers.  

We also contributed 5 laptops to Government Town LPS, Neyyattinkara, and a printer to GHSS, Dhanuvachapuram.

Between September and November 2023, QBurst enhanced the infrastructure at different schools in Kerala.

A computer lab with 15 computers and UPS was set up at the Government Girls Vocational Higher Secondary School (GGVHSS), Attingal. The lab was inaugurated by CTO Ansar Shihabudeen on September 29, 2023. Santhosh Kumar and Anuja Sreekumar from QBurst took part in the event.

A computer lab with 20 computers was set up in Mutharamman Covil Higher Secondary School (MCHSS), Kottukalkonam, Balaramapuram. With these facilities, QBurst hopes to strengthen computer education for students in these government schools.  

CCTV cameras were another CSR contribution from QBurst during this period. They were set up at the Government Model Higher Secondary School, Venjaramood. The school was also provided with furniture.
